Hi we have a shady spot along a north facing wall in a coastal area on the Tropic of Cancer. need suggestions on a colorful plant to put there. We have drip irigation

Hi Carol, I would put in a mass planting of "Aboricola Trinnette", its a beautiful green/yellow leafed bush that needs very little attention and does well in a dappled shade. Another good choice would be a perennial called "Crotons", they come in a variety of colors and shapes, all very colorful (leaves, not flowers). I would stick with either or both of these, as they do well together....good luck Nick
