QuestionI have a mandevillia outside.I live in zone 5 in Ohio.How far back should i cut it when i bring it inside soon?The nights are getting close to frost.It is in full bloom right now.I would appreciate your help!!Thank you.
AnswerBemice, cut it back when the night temps threaten to go near freezing, or frosting; cut it back to about 3 feet and then lift the entire root ball with as little disturbance as possible to the root ball, and place it in a sizable container for the winter in as sunny a location as you can.
