I live in central Texas and have several bougainvillea plants that I want to cut back and put away until spring. How is the best way to do this? Thank You, Ken B.

Hi Ken, the only way would be to cut it back and pot it up and then bring it inside as a houseplant for the winter (albeit stressed); if its too big, then prune it back and cover the root system heavily with mulch to keep the roots from freezing. Nick
