Answer
Hey Gary, nice job! they look real healthy and a real accomplishment, talk about pushing the envelope! When you come here you can get into Palm trimming, its a big profession here and the knowledge you have will separate you from the "fly by night" cutters, who butcher palms and send them to an early demise, beleive me, I deal with it all the time, ( I have a lawn service.) I am constantly assisting home owners down here who have had their palms "hurricane cut" which means trimming them to a carrot top type appearance, which to some seems attractive, but is actually the worst thing you can do to a Palm, for it is devoid of many of its fronds that are essential in staying healthy. The only fronds that should be removed from a Palm are those that are completely brown or yellowed. Once you arrive, you should become a Master Gardner, all the Counties hold classes, this will set you well on your way to many avenues of work in Horticulture here. Let me know when you arrive and will help you in any way I can. Nick
