Question
Hi -
I removed three fairly large shrubs from the front of my house leaving the stumps at soil level. I was not planning on having them removed  but wanted to know if there's anything I should do to treat them against possible termite or other pest infestation?

There isn't anything that the homeowner can purchase for this purpose.  I would suggest bringing in a stump grinder and removing.  then you do not have to worry about pest infestation.
