Question
My wife wishes to garden and also have flowers  in our backyard space.  We moved into a large lot with 45 redwood trees present.   Given your insight on the trees, along with the root system and shade they create, please give us a list of various plants and flowers that can coexist well- flowering plants, fruit bearing, ivy climbing, and otherwise.   My wife and I both appreciate your guidance.
