red maples

Question
I have 4 red maples about 12 inches high growing in a pot.  What do I do now that the fall is here?

Answer
Go ahead and plant them out where you want them to grow. Dig the hole twice the size of the pot that the seedling is in and as deep so the ground level is the same as the pot, fill with good potting soil and mulch around the tres with not more than 3 inches deep of mulch (not piled up on the tree trunk) and water. If it does not rain water about once each week.
