clipping for rooting shrubs/trees

Question
Hi Edward, I would like to know if it is possible to use Rootone on hydrangeas, flowering almond tree, lilacs, and azaleas...If so, could you tell me what to do...Also do I leave them outside in the summer or keep them in the house while they are trying to establish?  Thank you very much!!

Answer
Hi Jeanne,
Rootone can be used on just about every plant that you can think of. It is really very simple to use this product. First, take some of the rootone and put it in a dish or a pie plate. next, take the cutting and roll he cut end in the Rootone. Place it in a pot that is already filled with soil, and keep watered. Check it after a week by pulling gently on the stalk, if there is resistance, then the rooting has begun, if not wait another week and test again. Make sure that you follow all safety precautions on the bottle and do not inhale the powder.
I would recommend that you keep the plants inside for the summer so that they do not get stressed out with the high temperatures.
Good luck.
Ed
