Strawberry Guava tons of flowers and growth, no fruit.

Question
I have a strawberry guava tree that has put out at least a
foot of growth and flowered several times but so far no fruit
has set. The flowers just dry up and fall off after they have
opened. What can I do to get fruit from my tree?

Answer
James,
From what I have read about Guava trees, they require large amounts of water for fruit production, so if the tree is not watered heavily, the fruit will not form.
There is also the possibility that the flowers were not polinated properly- this is out of our control however.
You can fertilize it heavily and prune the tree back to spark new growth which is where the flowers and fruit develop.
I hope this helped.
Good luck.
