saving a rose bush

Question
I planted 2 hybrid Tea Rose bushes about a month ago and they started growin but one is dying how can i save it?

Answer
If the rose bush was healthy when you planted it, then it is re-acting to being planted in a new another than the garden center. If it was in a pot and the soil fell away, as it often does, then this will cause stress to the roots. Cut the rose back below the dead leaves and then water, water, water daily to keep the soil damp but not soaking wet. Just ignore the rose if it sulks, simply keep watering daily and in time it will perk up. If you weather has turned hot, this is another problem the rose has to cope with as all roses go under some stress when it is hot.
