Question
I am wondering if this rose will do well on the west side of my home?  This area consists of morning shade and hot afternoon sun. It will be on a trellis against my house. I live near the Lake Michigan shoreline in Manitowoc, WI. Any input would be appreciated. Thank You!

Pinata is a beautiful and unusual coloured rose but it is not hardy. When grown in partial shade without the hot afternoon sun, this climber keeps it beautiful shading but in hot sun the colours bleed and look muddled. Although I really like Pinata and have grown it, I don't think it would be ideal in hot afternoon sun. It is only hardy to zone 6.
