Red Rose Houseplant

Question
I live in scotland. I have a red rose houseplant which has red roses and then one peach rose. Can you tell me why?

Answer
Two things may have caused the different colours on the same bush. If it is just one bush then the rose has reverted to a another rose in it's background. Roses have bloodlines like humans and sometime a different rose in the blood line breaks through. If you made a cutting of the peach one and grew it, it would turn into a totally peach coloured rose bush. But many times those little roses are made to look like one bush but are really 3 or 4 cuttings and if that is the case then somone got the colours mixed up when they planted it.
