i just cannot understand what has happened all thats left are the flowers and the stems which are nice and green please help

Answer
When a rose isn't getting the amount of water it needs, then it has no alternative but to get rid of the extra work so it drops all it's leaves. Another reason is when the weather gets hotter, many roses will drop their leaves. Using a spray when temperatures are too warm will also cause a rose to shed it's leaves. There is always a good reason why a rose drops it's leaves quickly and many times it is the roots that are not getting enough water when it is warmer.
