Rose Rootstocks? Where to find them!

Question
I am looking for a place to find some disease free Dr. Huey, Fortuniana, Multiflora, De La Grifferaie, Manetti, and odorata roses. I know these roses are often used as rootstocks and thats why I want them. Many peoples roses die and they can't stand them. I just would like one of each in my landscaping. I like to practice with grafting and if I had my own plants to practice the propogation with it would be great. I know some can be obtained by buying a rose and just whacking the top off but I hate destroying a rose thats doing well just to get a wild rose. Any suggestions where they can be purchased or anyone wanting to get rid of them? I am located in Zone 8 (Marietta, SC 29661). Thanks so much.

Answer
There is a man by the name of Paul Zimmerman, you may have heard of him as he owned  a very large rose nursery in South Carolina. He would be a good contact to get information on where to get virus free under stock for you. As you know, virus free is very important because if the under stock plants were not started from seeds, then there could be problems. Here is his email address.
