I live in N E Oklahoma and would like to know when is the best time to plant double knock out roses and also a tulip tree

Hello Patricia,

If you can find these plants, now would be good time plant them because the roots will get established over the winter.  Just make sure to mulch both varieties well to make sure the roots do not freeze.  

If your ground freezes to deep, you may want to wait until spring. Do not try to plant bareroot roses this time of year-  plant only if they are in pots.
