Planting knock out roses

Question
I live in The Atlanta, Georgia area and have purchased Double Knockout roses in 3 gallon containers.  When should I plant them and should I cover them if we get have any frosty nights after they are planted?

Answer
Double Knock Out roses are considered hardy plants so they won't be bothered by a cold snap such as frost. In your area, you should be over any weather that would be cold enough to harm the roses. It usually takes three to four days of below zero temperatures to effect a rose badly or even kill the canes to the ground.
