Question
I have burning bush that is a couple years old and it looks like some one pruned it.  No one pruned it unless there is wild pruner running around prune bushes. Is this normal, a decease or a bug/ critter eating it?  

The ends look like some one when through and did a nice clean pruning.  There is an angle cut.

Hi Ruth,
Thanx for your question.  Sometimes in a a really windy day the ends of shrubs will snap.  Did you have a sleet storm that might have caused the stems to break at the end?  Maybe something chewed on the ends of them.  I'm sorry, I'm just guessing.  This is unusual.  I hope this helps.
