Question
I was recently in Maine on vac. and was amazed by the size and
quality of shrub roses everywhere!I got some info from Portland
headlight groundskeeper..My question is will these Perennials
survive in a south east Texas climate..sometimes it gets very
hot here?    Thank you in advance           Randall

Hi Randall,
Thanx for your question.  The southeast Texas climate is very humid and roses suffer a variety of ailments in particularly hot and humid summers.  However, I'm not a rose expert and we do have one here on Allexperts.  Please consult with the expert by going back to Home/Gardening and clicking on Roses.  I'm sure the expert is much more knowledgeable than I.  I hope this helps
