phalenopsis continues to bloom

Question
I have a phalenopsis that I've had for years. It bloomed in January with 23
flowers. It was magnificant.  A few buds did not develop.  Now that the other
flowers are gone, it has developed 10 buds that look like they will bloom.
Doesn't this plant need to rest?  Should I cut the spike off and let it rest until Oct
or November when it starts again?  Or is it okay to just enjoy the flowers?

Answer
Hello Barbara,

I'd let it finish this second surge of blooms but as soon as they are gone, cut the spike off down low.

Until then, keep doing what you have been doing to keep it growing and storing nutrient and water reserves.
