How are you? this is me again nursing a sick phal on zippy bag. Do I need to poke holes on the plastic bags and if the paper towel becomes dry do I need to moist it again. Thank you again for your time.

Hi again!  (grin)  It is not necessary to poke holes in the plastic bag but you can open and close it once a week while the phal is recovering.  The paper towel should remain fairly moist for some time in a sealed ziploc baggie but if it does dry out, go ahead and moisten it again or put a new one in.
