My Brsdm.

Question
QUESTION: I just bought a Brsdm. Golden Gamine  'White Night'. And i was wondering about temp. It's getting colder where im from and im worried about keeping it by the window.

ANSWER: Patrick, Brassidiums are intermediate growers (45-85 degrees).  You can adjust the temperature the plant receives by moving it back from the window if it gets too cool.

QUESTION: what about lighting? I have it in a western window, should i worry about it not getting enough light.  I know some things to watch out for if its not getting or is getting to much sun, but was wondering if you had any advice on it.

Answer
A west facing window is fine.  You can adjust the light level by moving the plant clopser or further from the window.  It should get enough light so you can ascertain a shadow on the leaf when you place your finger or other object between a leaf and the window.  Since there are many cloudy days in the winter, especially in the northern latitudes, it doesn't hurt to use a clip-on fixture with a plant light placed on a timer to produce 12 hours of suppleemental lighting each day.
