Cimbidium flowers

Question
My Cimbidium has a 2 month old flower spike on which the flower buds have not open, but instead they have turned yellow and are falling off. Two new flower spikes are green and look healthy. The plant receives morning sun and has not been moved since bringing it inside the end of October. I do not see any pests and the bulbs look healthy. Could over watering, pests, disease or temperature issues have caused this? I would like the other two spikes to open.

Answer
Hello Andie,

Hopefully this will help the 2 remaing spikes to open up.

Where you have it growing, are there any open windows close by where cold air comes in?  Is there a heater vent close by?  Are there any fresh fruits close by?  If one or more of these are present, that could be the cause for the buds to die without opening.

Hope this helps get them to open.
