My first corn plant

Question
HI I just bought my first corn plant today. It is about a foot tall. I have been looking at some of the other questions people have been asking. Other than letting it dry out between waterings, and no direct sun light, I have no idea how to take care of it please help.. thanks

Answer
Melissa,

Do not water it with water that has flouride in it. If yours does let it sit in an open container for 48hours and the flouride will dissipate or you can use distilled water.
Let it dry out well between waterings, no direct sun light but a very bright location, near a north window is wonderful. Fertilze it once a month with a water soluable fertilizer like Miracle Grow and follow the package instructions. Do not repot it until it is a lot larger. When you do only move it to a pot with a diameter 2 inches larger than the pot you are taking it out of. If you have any more questions feel free to write again. Good luck.
