hi, i just bought two pothos plants. i just bought miracle grow plant food and added more than recommened. it said to add something like one bag for i gallon of water. i added half bag and mixed it with continer of water.
would that cause any harm for the plants. i noticed it after week
my pothos is growing, also couple of leaves are turning yellow.

It could harm the plants depending on how big of a water container you used...Next time you water water it about 4-5 times in a row allowing a minute or two in between waterings...That will help wash away the excess fertilizer...
After that water it this way...
Water by weight...
Put a saucer under the pot. Water and let the plant sit in the excess water for 5-10 minutes. After that time pour off any excess water in the saucer. Pick up the plant. It should feel heavy. Don't water again until it feels considerably lighter in weight. You can also poke your finger into the soil to make sure it isn't too wet before rewatering. Watering frequency depends on many factors(sun exposure, type of plant, wind, day temps, etc.). Plants die from too frequent waterings - not from too much water at one time. They can also die from being allowed to be too dry for too long.
Over and under watering can both cause yellow leaves...Just remove the yellow leaves from the plant...
