Jade plant light

Question
Can I use a full spectrum light on a Jade plant?  The room I would like to put one in does not get a lot of sun.

Answer
Hi Nikki,

Nothing is as good as natural light for a Jade, but a full spectrum bulb that is kept pretty close to the plant and is left on for at least 8 hours per day should be adequate for your Jade.

Be careful that the light does not generate so much heat that it burns the leaves. Rotate the plant regularly so that all sides of the plant benefit equally from the light.
