my candy corn plant

Question
my cat chewed on my poor plant and I'm trying to nurse it back to health. I've trying to learn more about it and how to better care for it on the internet but its not very helpful for this. Do you have any ideas what i can do to help it? I just got it on mothers day from my daughter and had no idea my cat would eat it. I'm so mad at her(lol). Anything you can help me with I would greatly appreciate.

Answer
Hello V. Fields,  I have to admit that I have no personal experience of Candy Corn which I believe to be a garden plant.  As I am not a cat lover I would suggest you dispose of your cat - no, I am joking!  However, it would be interesting to know why the cat ate this particular plant or does he have a nibble of other plants as well?

I suggest you prune the plant so that all the chewed leaves are cut off and this will encourage new growth, it will also enjoy being in the sun.

If you notice that the cat is still interested would it be possible to put some netting around the plant to protect it?

And keep a watchful eye on that pussy cat of yours!!
