Question
House Palm fern has white circles think they are bugs.  I took plant outside and
washed with diluted dishsoap and water and hand wiped leaves. Two weeks later
the white cirles/bugs are back and some leaves are brown from sssooo much
water rinsing off the soap.  Can I do anything to save it?  Lynnw2211

I would like to help you, but I need better information. Let's start with a proper ID for your plant. Ferns and Palms are two very distinct plant genera and neither are a specific species. Please try to get a proper ID for your plant. If you cannot post a photo here then email a photo to me at [email protected].

I do not know of any plant pests that I would describe as 'white circles.' Please provide a better description or post some photos.

Finally, please provide some information as to how you care for this plant. For instance, how much light does it get? How do you water it? When was it last repotted?
