Question

House Plant   Hi,
Can you tell me what type of plant this is? It started off as a small piece off a small bush type tree, but when i rooted it and put it in a pot, it is just started growing straight up. I hope you can help me.

It could be a ficus tree, they frequently grow straight up like that and there are literally hundreds of varieties of ficus trees. Or it could be a bay laurel tree or any one of a number of shrubs. If you can send me a picture of the plant the cutting came off of I may be able to do a better job of identifying it. If you pinch out the growing tip it will cause the plant to branch out.
