Liquid minerals

Question
Hello Dr. Wright,

I am interested in your opinion on liquid mineral supplements.  My wife and I were interested in making some health decisions with our eating, and more importantly our vitamin and mineral intake.  Do you recommend taking liquid minerals over pill multivitamins?  I hear that the abosorption rate is better.  I have seen some online companies that sell liquid mineral products(COLLOIDAL, Seasilver, and Liquid VitaminNV).  I'm curious to know if these products are safe, and if so what are the best brands to take.  Are there alternatives to getting proper mineral intake?

Thank you :)

Answer
Liquid is always the best way to get a supplement.  Other than through food of course ;)  Tablets and pills simply aren't as assimiliable as liquids are.  I'm not too big on brand names... colloidal refers to the form and it's a great way to get your minerals.  I've never heard of the Liquid Vitamin NV, I have heard of Sea Silver but haven't looked at that particular one recently.
As for alternatives, in liquid form or liquigels is how you should get all your supplements when possible.  At least that's my opinion.  What good does it do to take a handful of pills if you're not getting much out of them in the first place?
