parsley, curled

Question
Hi Leroy,

I grew parsley in my raised bed this year, and I really enjoyed it. A few days ago, I transplanted all of my parsleys into containers and brought indoors for winter harvest.  Now I find some yellow leaves here and there...not only outside, but also in the center.  Is this a kind of transplant shock?  Lack of fertilizer?  How can I avoid this?  Please kindly advise.  Thank you.

Answer
Tamara:
I can only say that some transplanting shock has taken place. Fertilizez with organic liquid fish now sold at home depot or lowe's. Give east or south location, fresh air and lightly water & fertilize every 3 weeks. Prune out the discolored leaves. Out side leaves only. Never cut the center crown. If you are in a hard winter area, indoors will still cause more problems anyway. Container should be 12' deep or more. Good luck!

Leroy
