Care of transplanted pine trees

Question
We had 40 10-14 foot Austrian pines planted on our property about three months ago. The company that did the work has gone out of business. I would like to know what type of care we should be providing to the trees (e.g. watering, spraying for insects, trimming)?

Answer
If you have not done so I would mulch around the trees in about a three foot  circle with an organic mulch not more then 3 inch deep and not piled up on the trunk. Water once a week with 1 inch of water if it does not rain. Place a pan under the trees and turn the sprinkler on and when the pan has 1 inch of water in it stop. No insect control is needed or no pruning is needed unless you see insect problem.
