Question
I am going to grow my carnivorous plants in pots with a liner underneath.  Would you reccomend butyl rubber or the EPDM roofing rubber that is 1/2 the cost.

Hi Josh,

Definitely the butyl rubber.  Any materials made for roofing often have additives to inhibit moss.  This would be deadly to carnivorous plants.    The butyl rubber costs more, but it is wonderfully durable stuff.
