A CO2 generator

Question
I've built a simple generator to produce CO2 for my aldrovanda environment.  Ii seems to not produce CO2 in 24 hours.  I've used a snapple bottle.  I put 2 cups of water, then 3 T of sugar, and finally 1 1/2 t of yeast.  I used to tape as an air sealant and used a black plastic hose.  What is wrong?

Answer
Hello Taylor,

I have never grown Adrovanda as I indicated in my profile. You might want to ask Sarracenia Northwest how they raise their Adrovanda.

Also, there is a website that put up the following page on CO2 generators for Adrovanda:

You might have used too small a container, too little sugar, have too low of a temperature, or simply not have enough sealant to contain the gas and pipe it into the water low enough for the plants.
