hi
i just got my fly trap plant today in the mail and the people my brother order it did not leave any instructions on how to care for it. the type of my Venus flytrap is a "Dante". they also did not leave the type of soil or lighting to use. please help, i don't want it die.

In addition I would add that just for a few months you should keep your plant in a sunny window. As soon as the weather begins to stay above freezing in your area you can put the plant outside. It appears that the plant was kept growing artificially by having it in a warm greenhouse when it should be dormant. If where you live is still experiencing hard freezing weather it won't be able to tolerate it currently. After it's been outside for the season, it will be fine to stay outside into the winter depending on what part of the country you live in.
