Allexperts,

I repotted this plant about a month ago.  Before I repotted the plant it was very active growing sending up pitchers left and right.   Now since after the repotting process the plant has stopped.  Is the plant suffering from transplanting shock?  What can I do ?  There pictures attached to this email.

Grow info:

Water = distilled
lights = 12 hours 2x lamps

Answer
Hi Weylin,

Because Heliamphora have such delicate roots, transplant shock is a given with them.  You have to give them quite a bit of time to recover from it.  It takes ours about two months to begin growing well again.  What your seeing is pretty normal.  Just keep it's conditions stable, and give it time.

Good Growing!
