sarracenia rosea?
i have one sarracenia purpureas that i bought from ebay. it wasnt labeled except for "sarracenia purpurea". what type of sarracenia is this? it kind of resembles sarracenia rosea. it grows with a red dragon flytrap that is all red so the paleness couldnt be from insufficient light.

After viewing your second photograph, I've decided that both plants you have are Sarracenia purpurea ssp. purpurea. It's sometimes difficult to differentiate between venosa and purpurea subspecies in a photograph, but with both photos, I can see that the plants have traits most consistent with purpurea (the amount of yellow and smooth pitchers).
