Question
hello,
i have a Drosera Capensis that ill not get sticky, i have it in a windowsill im using well water through a mister ,im using pete moss ( or atleast i think it is) i try to go it indoors at about 73-75 degrees in Iva,South carolina

Answer
Hi Daniel,

Your well water sounds like the problem.  Hard water from wells will kill most carnivorous plants over time.  Switch to rainwater or distilled water.  Also make sure you have it in a very sunny window.  For more information on growing Cape Sundews visit our website caresheet pages, or consider our DVD, "Grow Carnivorous Plants" volume #2 on tropical sundews and butterworts.

Good Growing!
