Question
Hi nice to have you back how was the trip? Anway back to what i want to know. I have some Sarracenia seedlings, D. filiformis, D.filiformis red var., and a D. intermedia. I wanted to know if it is ok to move them outside i recived most of them from the internet and they were dormant and dormancy is almost up and i was growing them inside except for the seedlings i grew them from seed myself here is my forcast i thought it might put them in shock or something this is why i am asking here it is http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=33.465816745730024&lon=-85.09872436... Thanks.

Answer
Hi Ean,

Our trip was great.  Thanks for asking.  You can see lots of photos from it at Jacob's Facebook page.

I would not move your seedlings outside just yet if they've been inside.  Wait until March.  It's still quite possible to get a freeze considering you're zone 8.  If you start seeing a few 70 degree days, then you're probably fine.  Just watch to see if you might have cold air moving in.  Once your plants are acclimated to being outside, they can stay there.

Good Growing!
