My sundew

Question
My sundew has dew good enough to catch an insect but one you told me that the hours of sun light that I provided weren't enough for it to produce dew to catch a pray ( 1 hour) so I gave my sundew 4 hours of sun light as you said and when I put it back inside my house there is no dew in the plant. Can u help me know what I'm doing wrong?

Answer
Hi Alberto,

Growing plants doesn't work like that.  You need to give them time.  It will be a minimum of two weeks before you start to see a difference depending on weather conditions. (Cloudy days etc...)  If the leaves are in poor condition, often it takes enough time for the plant to grow new leaves before you see the change.  New leaves will have more color, and more dew if light levels are good.

If you can send me a clear photo of your plants I can give you a better idea of what condition they are currently in.

Good Growing!
