Hi christopher littrell my question is the leaf on a nepenthes plant once you cut the old pitcher  off do the tendtil steel grow on that same leaf and make a another pitcher on that same leaf you cut off   the old pitcher thank-you

Hello Robert,

No, each leaf grows one pitcher in its lifetime. Once that pitcher has died off and been cut off, the leaf survives for a few months and then dies off too. New leaves will grow in with new tendrils and pitchers at the growth points at the ends of vines.
