drosera and bugs

Question
I have 2 drosera a capenesis and a one i dont know. BOth are healthy and have high humidity and southeatsern sun, I also live in Utah. they're producing large amounts of dew and new flower stalks. the problem is that on the flower slalks there are little yellowish clearish insects on the flower stalks im not sure how to treat this or if i shouldnt.they both have the insects. they are wingless and very small so i couldnt get a clear picture

Answer
They're likely aphids.  They're a common pest at this time of the year, and they love to attack sundews.  They'll feast on flower stalks and new growth before the new growth produce any dew.  Spray your plant with an insecticide.  Most are very safe, but you should watch our video podcast on safe insecticides and the proper way to spray your plants.
