Crontons and bugs

Question
QUESTION:  recently bought 2 small cronton's 3 months ago, and just noticed little tiny white bugs and some webs. I had just used soapy water and sprayed it on yestterday and today, and on the soil like it suggested in a book of mine. I want to know what I should do if they come back. they are healthy plants and respond to when i water them. Once in awhile a healthy leaf will fall off. I also have numerous plants, but the crontons are on different shelves so as not to infect others What should i do? Thank you for your time.

ANSWER:   Hi Alisa, Soapy water works for a short period of time but washes off easily.  You will need to get an insecticidal spray to control the mealy bug problem.  You could try Atomic Grow that will make your plant healthy again so bugs go somewhere else.  It is organic and safe to use.  kathy

QUESTION: Thank you for your quick response. Bt if i use Atomic Grow, and the bugs don't die, and go somewhere else I don't want them to infect my other plants in the house.I know what you mean about insecticide the poison kind, but what will kill them. Thanks again

Answer
Hi Alisa, You would spray all your plants in the house or outside in any case as you want your plants to be healthy.  Why would you want to spray poison in the house on any plant?  Poison kills even people. A healthy plant bugs leave alone a sick plant even after poison spray come back to the sick plant.  Plants are not meant to be in a house so they are already stressed.   kathy
