Hamata v Heliamphora growing conditions

Question
Allexperts,

In the room where I would grow one of these two plants it gets about 76 degrees during the day.  Goes down to about 71 at  night.  Which one of these plants would grow best in this environment either Nepenthes Hamata or Heliamphora?  I would be putting them in a fish bowl with pebbles on the bottom to raise the humidity.  As always I take what you guys say to heart.  Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Weylin

Answer
Of the two, Heliamphora is your best bet.  Hamata really needs night temperatures below 70?  Optimally, they grow best when night temperatures are below 60?  The drop in night temperature slows down their metabolism and prevents them from becoming exhausted.

Helimaphora appreciates a nighttime drop when the days are very warm, above 80?  If the days are mild, say in the 70s, the drop in night temperature isn't critical is it is for hamata.

Good growing!
