Here's my last question in our conversation about my Royal Red: Is the light shortage threatening the plant's life or making the plant sick?  I've been trying hard to make it happy.  But I worry that I maybe have done more harm than good.  Thank you again.

As mentioned earlier, if you can bring the fluorescent lights closer to the plant, you have a better chance of keeping it healthy.  You also have about 8 weeks to go before you can acclimate your plant outdoors.  Your plant should be OK as long as you can bring the lights closer or use strong lights.
