Aloe

Question
My Aloe broke at the very base of the plant it's about 2 1/2 feet can I save this plant maybe got to wet or to heavy maybe both inside plant please help

Answer
If the base has leaves it may regenerate.  I'd put it in a smaller pot and trim some of the roots. IT SHOULD FILL IN NICELY FROM THE BASE. As for the part that broke off, cut off about a third of it, LEAVE ABOUT AN INCH OF STEM AND really let it callous over and pot in moistened vermiculite.  Don't water again till it's rooted. OR AT LEAST NO MORE THAN EVERY WEEK TO 10 DAYS AND WATER FROM THE BOTTOM.  BE SURE TO STAKE IT.  IT WILL ROT IN A MONTH OR TWO.

I'm so sorry your plant broke.  it always breaks my heart when something happens to one of mine.

You can also send me a picture (I may have asked you this already) so I have a better idea of what you're dealing with.

Hoe this helps.  Aloes are pretty forgiving.
