I am a farmer from India. 10 Months back I had planted 1000 banana plantations in my farm. But now, the plantations are turning yellow in color though It has not yet yielded anything. Kindly let me know what needs to be done regarding this at the earliest.

Hi Raju, If I understand you correctly the leaves are yellow?  If this is so, they are not getting enough water.  Banana are 85 per cent water, they do not want to sit in it but need water.  Banana will produce a fruit after the 23 leaf of the plant.  Also when young only need fertilizer.  You can green them up now with epsom salts if it is available in your county.  kathy
