Palm Tree w/ sticky leaves

Question
We have one of many palms indoors and outside and all are fine except  one that has very sticky leaves. It's on a sun porch w/ other palms and tropical. We live in St Louis, MO and are from Florida so we love the tropical plants and have had them for years with virtually no problems. We repot each fall and bring them indoors in the winter and plant some outside in the spring and summer around our pool. We have sago palms, royal palms, a pony tail palm and others. This one I believe is about a 6' to 7' royal palm. I could be wrong but it's the average palm that sells almost everywhere. This has happened before and I don't know whether to treat w/ soap and water, alcohol, just more sum outside or what?!?!

Answer
Hi Ginger, you could use a product called Atomic Grow that is organic that will make you palms and all your plants healthy so you do not have the problem again.  It will clean off the leaves and make them look shiny and beautiful, work it way into the palm or plant and raise the brix which is sugar content, the more sugar the healthier the plant and bugs go elsewhere.  It will even make them healthy so the leaves do not turn black.  And the best it is organic and made from food.  Or else you would have to get a product that would be poison which I know nothing about only that in the long run it can hurt you and the environment as well.  kathy
