Dieback

Question
My Grevillea Jenkinsii looks as if it is dying. I suspect the disease is dieback. I have recently lost other plants nearby. My question is, Are still more plants at risk and what is the best way to dispose of the plant? And are there any preventative measures I should take?

Answer
If several plants of different genera are dying in close proximity to one another, I would suspect a root rot disease.  You may try a soil fungicide (maybe Daconil) and mix a drench to apply around the other plants in that area.  A rule of thumb is to mix a 1-2% solution and pour around the base of plants.
