QUESTION: Kathy,
Thank you so much for your help. I was not able to find the copper fungicide locally but found it online and will have it tomorrow. Your help is greatly appreciated. And, sorry for sending so many emails with pictures, I could only put one in each. I, however have another question, after I spray and the fungus is gone, can the remaining fruit be eaten later once it is ripe? And is there anything I need to do to get the trees back in shape?
Thank you again

ANSWER: Hi Jeff, No problem, just had to send you a few extra e mails to get you off the boards or they would tell me I didn't answer you..  Yes you could eat the fruit.  Use the copper spray to get you started once everything is back in order I would switch to Neem so you don't get a copper problem next.  Get on a good watering program of approx 3 1/2 inches per week and a good slow release fertilizer.  If it is the only plants you water at least water your fruit trees as they will pay you back for your effort.  Better taste,  nothing sprayed on that you don't know what it is, and quality fruit.  Glad I could help.  kathy

QUESTION: Thank you for your help Kathy. I have quite a few more questions to ask you but I'm afraid I might be taking advantage of this service. Some questions such as, How do I tell if I'm getting 3 1/2 inches per week of water? What would be a good slow release fertilizer? Do you sell any of the things I will need? Do you ship to California? It would be very very beneficial for me if I could get these trees in really good shape again. Also, several things happened at once here. The trees caught the fungus, then we had a really strong, hot wind that burned the north side of the trees, and I found out today there is a bug infestation. Any way, I know I'm going on too much. I'm sorry. I just hope you can help me. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. If this is too much to answer for this service is there another way I could get help?
Thank you very much again, Jeff

Answer
No problem jeff, go to my website www.crowleynursery.net and e mail me from there.

Some questions such as, How do I tell if I'm getting 3 1/2 inches per week of water? MAKE A MOAT OF SOIL AROUND THE DRIP LINE OF YOUR TREE AND FILL WITH WATER WITH A HOSE AND THAT IS HOW TO GET THE RIGHT INCHES.  IF YOU USE A SPRINKLER PUT A CAN OR CUP INDER IT AND FILL IT UP TO TWO INCHES.

What would be a good slow release fertilizer?FLORIKAN PUTS OUT AN EXCELLENT FERTILIZER CALLED DYNAMITE THAT IS SLOW RELEASE.  I USE A 10-10-17 WHICH IS THERE BETTER FERTILIZER BUT WAIT TILL SPRING AND NEW PRODUCTS WILL BE COMING OUT AS IT IS TOO LATE TO FERTILIZE NOW.

Do you sell any of the things I will need? Do you ship to California? I DO NOT SHIP BUT WILL GUIDE YOU TO THE RIGHT PLACES

It would be very very beneficial for me if I could get these trees in really good shape again.
YOU WILL IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO YOU PLANTS AND THEY WILL TELL YOU THEY NEED HELP.  A GOOD SIGN IF IT IS NOT FALL IS YELLOW LEAVES NOT ENOUGH WATER AND BLACK ON TIPS OF LEAVES TOO MUCH.
