dwarf lemon tree

Question
My dwarf lemon tree has been growing in deformed curled leaves for over a year now, all new growth grows in deformed.  I live in Canada so in the winter, my goal is just to keep it alive but this past summer all new growth came in deformed.  Now I am worried for this upcoming winter, if it has enough energy to survive, do you know what it has, what can I do about it? thank you
If you like i could send you a picture.

Answer
Hi Steven,You need a good insecticidal spray to control this problem and the one on your other tree.  I would use 100 per cent pure Neem Oil spray, as it is organic and does not wash off.  Nothing will stop it except cold weather, the leaf minor goes to sleep and the new leaves will come out nice again.  The only time you would need to re apply the neem is on new leaves only.  It is also and insecticide and a fungicide and miticide,  so it will take care of many of the problems that citrus go thru.  kathy
